Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. There are various mindsets about main factors which affect the children’s abilities personality in order to become a positive member in the different communities. Foremost, my firm conviction is that each individual’s personality is inextricably bound up with the manner of their nurture. In other words, parents have much of a role to play in their offspring’s upbringing and they are responsible for teaching them all essential features by which children will be successful as a member of society. In addition, only if parents put their every effort into observing a variety of rules themselves, will their charges succeed in this regard. For instance, those who do not respect such rules can eliminate plenty of social values which in turn causes next descendants to be negatively affected. On the other hand, school is another a very crucial factor in teaching peers students in order to play an effective role in the variable communities. Not only are students educated taught technical knowledge through schools but also they acquire a multitude of skills for their personal life. Therefore, from a social standpoint, an efficient educational system can assist children in/with their satisfactory interactions since this is an introductory community by which everyone can enhance their ability in teamwork. However, I strongly believe that the role of the parents and that of the schools are not mutually exclusive, so both of them can aid children in getting becoming good member of society. In terms of responsibility, parents and teachers both have a vital task in improving children’s behavior. Consequently, even though each of the mentioned factors is quite effective in conducting children’s conduct in order to be a positive member of society, I opine that parents besides schools brings about significant positive impacts on them.
