Trade and travel would be a lot easier with a single, global currency that we all use. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Would a single currency cause any problems? It is obvious that using single currency for all trade and travel is easier way than every country using their own money. But the important part of this idea is its feasibility. And after that we should consider the consequences of this decision for all country. In my view this is a huge change and the global economy is not ready for that. I discuss below about the mentioned view. I should say that after the experience of the European Union (EU), we could consider that this plan which is using the same legal tender for a limited region of the world is accessible. But in all ofthroughout EU there are some exceptions like Czech Republic which use their own money. As much as this plan has been taken place in Europe, we should consider that a single currency have has been proceeded its path in the rich European country countries and for poor country this change provide some economic difficulties. If later countries could not improve their economic infrastructures, they might collapse into anarchy. This problem could be illustrated by Greece mass protests and chaos in recent years. But the greatest impediment to implementation of a global currency is diplomatic impasse. Reaching to global legal tender is conceivable; provided we reach to global perpetual peace which looks impossible. Nevertheless, since World War II the dollar has attained position of power and have has been used for some commerce as a global currency. But reaching to this position is not just because of facilitating of trade, and its main reason is American hegemony all over the world after World War II and especially after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. But this situation of the dollar has been threatened by euro. Indeed, common money is used merely for large business deals and for other businesses and tourism; we have not come to that stage yet.do not reach to common currency. Finally, I should say that instead in spite of a single currency’s beneficial effects for all countries, but it seems this issue is not attainable or at least in the near future is not possible.
