It is obviously essential for businesses to put their best effort into making money. Not only is it vital for covering their running costs namely employees wages, purchasing up-to-date euipment and other payments for utilities but also this money is crucial for investing in new technologies, researches and innovations if they want to survive in this competitive market. if a company cannot afford its own expenses or may not be able to meet the changing needs of its customers, the arguement of playing a positive role in society would be over. On the other hand, commercial activities should not be done with the sole aim of boosting profits. companies who are in a good financial health can make a positive contribution to society. For instance, they can allocate a proportion of their profit to helping charities or assist other communities in supporting environmental projects and education systems. esides, they should be concerned about the impact of their operation on the environment. They have to act in harmony with nature and conserve the environment. Generally speaking, although financial objectives should be on in priority of every companys performance, placing an importance to on social responsibilities, which they surely have, is eually critical.
