Some people prefer to take a position in a company and work for the company. Other people think it is better to go into a business for themselves. Which do you think is better? As an individual, we all face a critical point in our lives when we have to choose a career path. When it comes to having a preference for getting/landing a job, I am strongly of the opinion that running a business has such merits like having potentials for improvement and flexibility, that not only outweigh but also outnumber its demerits. Needless to say that a key factor called responsibility pressure can by no means be ignored as an adverse element. On the one hand, from an optimistic point of view, it is necessary here to clarify what is exactly meant by having potentials for improvements. Possessing a business compared to working for others, not only encompasses a productive procedure, but also may turn into a noticeably profitable path. In other words, it provides you with a rare lucrative opportunity to succeed in your profession. Looking at it from another favorable stand point, I need to be explicit about flexibility. It is common sense that working as an employee will/may/can is able to impress your life style. For instance, you do not have comprehensive control over your time. In contrast, by means of carrying out a personal trade, you will be able to manage your time and be dominant/the decision maker. Pessimistically speaking, I feel obliged to account for responsibility pressure. Although owning a business can provide you with a wide spectrum of opportunities and advantages, it may also entail/contain some adversities. In this case, you are both an employee and an the employer. Therefore, as a self-manager, you will end up undergoing a huge amount of pressure singlehandedly. To sum up, in my estimation, starting a self-business will define a broad spectrum of positive points for the person, although the negative ones should be considered as wellthough. 287 words Mana Ghabussi Longman Mini-test 4
