Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective? In case of tackling traffic jams and pollution problems caused by urbanization some argue by increasing the price of petrol we can address the issue. However, critics disagree and cite many disadvantages. They believe that there must be more effective solutions and always the easiest way is not the best one. First of all, petrol price increase has a direct impact on basic goods' price changes because of increasing of their transportation's costs. Although the former might decrease some unnecessary car traveling by individuals who cannot can not afford the raised petrol price, it does not change those wealthy people's behavior. Secondly/Second of all, experience has shown that increasing the petrol price does not have a quite a positive effect on the car owner's negative habits. These changes not only does not change their habits, but also has have an unpleasant result on their economic issues. In addition/By the way, a good mixture of different solutions may help in this regard. Price increasing can be a small portion of the whole governmental plan. They must raise the car owner's awareness about their responsibility for their city traffic jams and pollution problems besides planning a solution for increasing public transportation accessibility. Consequently, the government has have to invest more in electronic car industries to make it more viable. In conclusion, there must be a political will to fulfill a big, crowded big city's transportation requirements and removing strong pressure on traffic jam and pollution problems. The more people have access to public transportation and other alternatives, the less they like to use their own car/private transport.
