Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. There is no room for doubt that children need to be educated/trained/taught learned in order to be effective members of society. Question of whether this should be done by school or their parents is a matter of dispute. Some people are of the opinion that this is the parents' duty, because every child starts learning, when they are born, so parents can play a crucial role in their education, when they are nurturing their children. Even thought, this responsibility could be divided between the child's mother and their father as well, we should not ignore the roles of the other family members, since they have a direct effect on their children. For instance, parents could get advice from their relatives, who have has enough experience. On the other hand, other people argue (put forward the view) that school is the place that young children should be taught, because not only can their teachers apply this better since they have done this before but also classes are in fact kind of a small society. As a result, children can communicate with their peers, who are part of future society as well. Furthermore, experienced teachers with an effective education system formed by the government could more and more affect teaching, so pupils learn each skill according to by their age. Personally, I believe that both points of view have their merits. Therefore, this responsibility must be divided between parents and school. By doing this, children will learn how to be effective persons, when they are mature. Consequently, in the future, when children become parents they are in capable of teaching their own children
