Public libraries should only provide books and should not waste their limited resources on expensive high-tech media such as software, videos or DVDs. Do you agree or disagree? After breakthroughs in the high-tech industry, a growth growing number of professions have changed those particularly that influence on people’s awareness, from paper based to virtual ones. Now, many/thousands hold the view that old-fashioned libraries must renew their instructions and add state-of-the-art technologies while others have a different belief, they argue that books are irreplaceable. I believe that investing in modern technology could be highly beneficial for all. With by equipping the public libraries to with the latest advances in the field of technology a huge range of facilities are readily accessible for to all members which means that in the hectic modern era in which the pace of living has been rocketing, having an instant access to necessarily necessary information being is required; as a result, software installing in the libraries is probably the best option to obtain those. Beside this, public libraries have no visual attractions and entertainments for their users unless they would utilize videos and DVDs. What to say is thatin other words nowadays people, mainly young generations, tend to use up-to-date equipment to provide visual facilities for them. Neverthelessalthough, the astronomical cost of libraries’ equipment is irrational, it would be lowered by appealing to a sizable number of members. Despite all the positive points of adding technological devices to the libraries, it is essential to remember that books are the most important property that humans have without which(. Without books coming from the past), human beings havehas not had information about our ancestors; in other words, these are our identity, so it is vital to preserve them. Moreover, many pursue their own interest to read printed publications instead of following the visual books in laptops or the other smart devices. In conclusion, although there is no unique point of view in this issue, I believe that the best possible approach is that libraries must preserve books; in addition, invest in new and modern equipment in order to upgrade the structure of themselves.
