Some people say that the Internet will soon become the preferred method of delivery of the news and information, causing the newspapers and magazines to gradually disappear. Do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion and include examples from your knowledge or experience. Many a member of society holds the idea that the traditional methods of delivering news such as magazines or newspapers will soon disappear making online versions more and more popular. Though I myself prefer the paper type of newspapers, I believe the number of online readers is increasing rendering the traditional newspapers and magazines obsolete. This short essay elaborates on this subject with a few examples, making this hot debate clearer. Thanks to the new advances in science and technology, today an overwhelming majority of individuals across the globe have access to the World Wide Web, thereby decreasing demands for printed versions such as books, magazines, flyers or newspapers. No longer, do we need to go out to buy a newspaper. We can easily subscribe to an online newspaper, and read it at home or office from on our electronic device. In addition to this, as electronic newspapers can be updated instantly, people prefer the digital ones, hence the lower number of fans of printed press. On the other hand, it is important to note that still many people even in developed countries do not have access to the Internet or they may not have a suitable electronic device to connect to cyberspace, . therefore, a limited number of printed versions of newspapers or magazines will be needed. What is more, many computer-illiterate people from all walks of life may not have enough computer skills to benefit from the Internet or prefer to touch what they read, saving the printed press from oblivion. May not be computer-savvy To cut a long story short, I must confess that though hard to accept the bitter truth about printing industry products such as books, newspapers, and magazines is that sooner or later the traditional methods of conveying information will become extremely limited, and the new solutions/alternatives will be replaced. Regrettably, the new means of delivering news has have dramatically decreased the number of otherwise printed versions.
