It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behavior to children? One part of children’s growth is the development of conscience which helps them to distinguish between right and wrong. This development needs time and proper parenting. Although some argue that retribution is mandatory, my unshakable conviction is there is no room for harsh penalties in order for a child to pick acceptable conduct. Adopting the wisdom which helps a newborn to understand a behavior is bad or good comes with the age of reasoning. When you punish an infant because of what he has done, he cannot realize why he is being conducted treated like this. Parents can teach this manner to their charges by discouraging and encouraging them. For example, when they are misbehaving, urging them to do vice versabehave themselves. Moreover, asking them to correct the mistakemake up the situation has been cited as another extremely effective approach to teach offspring. For instance, persuading them to pick up the trash that they have thrown. Once we speak about children’s upbringing, some think punishment is its inseparable part, whilst they have not specified what kind of it. Therefore, some parents, unfortunately, use physical ones against their kids to make them get their act together. They, however, do not know about their further future negative consequences. Hard punishing can have an inevitably long-term harmful effect on children’s memory and deleterious impact on their manner, thereby leading to probably developing complexes. Thus, selecting a/the right penalty based on what the child did plays a key role in this context. Consequently, corporal punishment should not be permitted, in my opinion, and just those like sanctions, withdrawal of privileges, and detention can be used to pave the way for developing the ability to recognize the contrast between right and wrong.
