Surprisingly, even nowadays a minority of outdated individuals might think punishment, corporal punishment as its most prevalent form, helps the children through the process of learning. As adults living in this modern era, we have all seen the vicious cycle of violence throughout societies which . Additionally, we might all agree that has on its roots inoriginated roots; childhood. However, when it comes to addressing this issue’s roots, we often forget our own accustomed corporal punishment which we were accustomed to practiced on our very own children. Yet the damage is done and we have entered our own children into this futile cycle that the experienced violence is going to be practiced again somewhere else. Not only does corporal punishment damage the cognitive development and health of the children, also it is a basic violation of human rights. Justifying these sorts of punishment due to children’s vulnerability and their inability to stand up and speak up for themselves, does not make this act any less of the other types of human rights violations.
