Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to use printed material such as books and articles to do research than it is to use the internet. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. The internet that we use is now a very important part of our lives. Some people believe that it is better to use printed material because it can be more reliable and based on truth but some other people have the opposite idea. As far as I am concerned, using the internet is the cheapest way for searching information.The first, printed materials such as books and articles are more reliable than online sources of internet since website can be edited by anyone in the world. Sometime articles in online encyclopedias contain and biased information. However, for making books or other printed materials , we cut trees. By doing so, we increase CO2 in atmosphere. I remember when I was studying in high school, my classmates and I visited a company how made books. We saw that they use material such as papers , glue, ink and other materials. All this material are harmful for ourenvironment. Moreover, in the internet it has new information based on new research and latest sources. In my opinion, using internet is more helpful for us. The second reason that I want to mention is that using internet is cheaper and more convenient than using printed materials. Nowadays, we all use internet if you look up for something specific, you always have an opportunity to find it. Using internet is available from anywhere. For instance, I had to write an essay that I had not enough time for so I used theinternet . I had not enough time to go to the library and look for relating books. Last but not least, the internet could be access from any device. Nowadays, students are very aware of technology. They use their laptops , tablets, desktop computers and their phone to have access to the internet. With the simple fact of having internet connection they could study wherever they go and at any time. In my case, I used to study during my way to home in the bus. I spend that time studying and searching from my phone. I had avery good internet service that allowed me to reach it very faster. I had several apps that helped me to practice the material. As a conclusion, I prefer to use the internet instead of using printed material because of free books, apps and useful sources. The internet has latest information with several tools that can reached.
