Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development? At this point in time, technology has dominated all spheres of human’s lives. Relationships of individuals has have not been an exemption in this across-the-board trend. Nonetheless, this phenomenon has not been always beneficial. People used to communicate each other mostly via landlines, or they met up face-to-face. Ways of interactions among the masses, however, has been enormously changed since early 2000s. They predominantly connect each other through the internet, particularly, social networks such as Facebook. Meanwhile, smartphones have a leading role to play in both nearly and remotely communications. There are a vast number of applications, which create a straightforward route for people’s connections. Rarely do they make phone calls through cellular, where they may place IP-based video or voice calls. Although the enhancements of the technology in people’s interactions are vulnerable, they has had adverse impacts in social relationships. By a way of an example, in text messages, it is hard to convey emotions., therefore, it may cause resentments or misunderstanding to build up. By the same token, it could led people to feel isolated, since they meet their family or friends’ circle once in a while. Moreover, it sounds quite a pernicious and hazardous practice. That is to say, teenagers and youngsters might make a friendship with untrustworthy parties, who awaited for sexual abuses or fraud.In conclusion, technology has altered ways of communications in recent years. Apart from advancements of this trend, it has brought about an array of obstacles in people’s daily lives, which could be detrimental and in some cases instomountableinsurmountable.
