Sanaz Namdar Topic: Some people think that building such as flats and houses should be designed to last a long time. Others believe that it is more important to provide accommodation quickly and cheaply. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Previously, constructing prodigious multi-storey residential structures sounded far-fetched Whilst by using scientific modern methods innovated by scientists pushing back the frontiers of knowledge these types of structures have become a common sight. Although there are some various views as to whether boosting houses having high durability are recommended or fast and cheap methods for constructing are preferable, I personally believe that it is plausible to build houses or flats with high quality however despitethey have extremely tight budgets regarding the delivery time. From one prospective, dwellings with strong structures conforming to up-todate building codes including structural and architectural ones is appealing for several reasons. It is a given that in many cultures houses show their owners’ prestige and social level ;therefore, people preferably choose their own architectures in order to try to build their dream houses. Despite althoughthat people should allocate a sufficient immense budget at first to building up the quality house, this expenditure is for good, so from a futuristic prospect it has economic justifications. Moreover, when their future generation come into their wealthy inheritance having deeply attached to their parents, it seems their parents’ attempts finally bear fruit. From another prospective, according to the technological development in terms of structural methods, we have witnessed some major transformations in the building industry leading to high-speed construction in spite of considering safety rules and shrinking budget policy judiciously. For example, the a skyscraper was recently built in china in less than 2 months with more than 50 floors and purely based on authentic building codes, not least the earthquake code. For thishigh-rise building, the engineers succeeded in keeping the budget down in comparison with their normal constructed counterparts. Furthermore, based on the ever-expanding urban population problem causing housing boom in some major cities, which is not insurmountable provided that governments or some non-profit organizations should financially advocate all citizens especially the underprivileged, by some special plans such as social housing, the economic project, to solve this problem by using the latest rapid construction methods as well as observing the safety standards. Beyond a shadow of doubt, according to the above-mentioned factors, I hold the notion that in this day and age technological advances in all aspects assist us to in developing accommodation for ourselves far faster, safer, stronger, and more economic simultaneously.
