Some people think that buildings such as flats and houses should be designed to last a long time. Others believe that is more important to provide accommodation quickly and cheaply. Discuss both views and give your opinion. There are two different opinions about the strength and resistance of buildings in public belief. The First group considers the strength and resistance of a building in order to be reliable for facing natural disasters such as earthquakes, storm, and tornados and so forth. The latter believes that, buildings which have accommodation and visual beauty, provided that they are prepareding cheaply and quickly constructions is are in priority. My philosophy in life is in line with the former better late than never! As long as I’veas far as I am concerned, in Tehran for example, because of an ethe special geographical location, we should consider resistance of a building and using facilities for saving energy as our prime concern, so, if we build constructions due to this idea, we would provide the society with safety. Such edifices may have more longevity even though building them costs more. Unfortunately in my city the most critical factor for constructors is using cheap materials to increase their own profits. As a result, nowadays, the majority of builders do not provide suitable isolators insulation or resistance resistant materials in buildings. However, new structures with modern designs even with cheap qualities are more popular which is not only suitable for builders’ profits but also people are concerned more about the beauty and luxury points and do not pay attention about the other important items. We have new buildings with various styles for different tastes but not all of them are built with essential standards which leads the appearance of our city to an unpleasant situation. In conclusion, in constructing many different items should be considered. Resistance and long lastingdurability areis very important, besides it is comforting to see some builders consider nice decent design and convenience convenient environment in their works as well as the mentioned factors.
