Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is positive or negative development? The accessibility of commodities mankind desires is becoming more pervasive, and people of different countries have access to each other’s products easier than before. This essay discusses whether the advantages of this double edged sword outweigh the disadvantages or not. Nowadays, communications, transport facilities and global desires have led to availability of any product throughout the whole world. For instance, Brazilians can purchase what is made in Italy or vice versa. Although this issue assists in having some favorites in common, it would degrade some local products. In other words, exporting some goods to a region may cause reduction in domestic products by decreasing people's interest in the local goods. On the other hand, some of these imported commodities bring the culture of where they are were made and this can even hurt the original culture of people receiving them and make people reluctant to their own culture gradually. That the negative effects would be observed in some cases is inevitable but the positive points should be noticed as well. Despite the mentioned disadvantages, this phenomenon, that is to say the availability of any product anywhere, can grow people's enthusiastismc in each other’s culture, customs and even language. Therefore, the concept of global village can be completed in this way and it assists in achieving a more harmonious universe by these kinds of trades. Besides, the variety of commodity in the market provides a competitive atmosphere among producers of the same commodity, no matter it is an agricultural crop or an electrical devisedevice. In this way, contending for having more costumers' consumers' satisfaction would result in achieving a higher quality products and benefits both the costumer and producer. To sum up, I opine that although some adverse consequences may occur due to global trades among countries with distinct origins, the advantages make it more acceptable. Humans' task is to make the earth replete with integrity and mutual understanding and this action can be the beginning.
