Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish. Why do you think this is happening? What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced? Today's world needs to find a solution for the trash which is being produced every day. We dump two billion tons of waste globally each year and we have tried different ways of obliterationmanaging it. Some of them it isare burned, some other are is buried and we also send some of them it to the outer space and leave them it there, But even so, we are still harming nature. The main reasons and measures are discussed in this essay. Since companies and industries are greedy for more money, products are becoming of less quality. Although the technology has progressed and {has} brought new means of manufacturing and producing, the quality and the shelf life of products have been decreased comparing to the past. In addition, surrounded by throwaway materials, we turn almost 99 percent of the products we buy into garbage in less than six months. Ironically, a huge amount of this garbage is used in the packaging of goods, which serves as an advertisement for them. First of all, we should work on materials. Pundits are working hard in labs all over the world in order to invent flexible materials which can be recycled easily. However, thatalthough those materials are currently at exorbitant prices, but in the near future, they will become more reasonable money-wise. Moreover, we can reuse or recycle the current products. For example, using our shopping bags twice and avoiding getting new bags from the store or turning useless water bottles into flowerpots can be an appropriate way to comply get along with this idea. Besides the mentioned measures which can be done, the last but not the least one is raising the public awareness. People should know about this global issue, in order to make better choices when they are shopping and be encouraged to support products with less packaging. Only if the people support this idea and protest against industries and governments, will it be possible for the world to be changed in a good way. All in all, we should understand that there is not enough space on the earth for this massive amount of waste, so we should change our behavior toward the industry, merchandises and governments, in order to make them more environmentally-friendly.
