Some people think that the effective way to reduce pollution is to tax the companies which cause it. Others think that there are better ways to achieve this. Discuss both the sides and give your own opinion. While many believe that the industrial units contributing to pollution must be taxed significantly higher than others, opponents of this notion argue that charging those companies is not a neat solution. They opine that more effective ways must be applied to encourage managing directors of such companies to cooperate with people to reduce the level of pollution produced by such factories. This essay attempts to elaborate both standpoints together with expressing my stances on this argument. On the one hand, it is an indisputable fact that charging with higher tax from a commercial unit results in possible ways to increase the income to cover the expenses, high tax included. One of the obvious solutions, however, would be the an increase in productionof the product line, and the more production, the more pollution. Moreover, a slight increase in the price of products can easily covers high expenses, though this does not prevent companies from producing pollution. In addition to that, a significant increase in tax might oblige factory owners to lay off their staff, which is not certainly a target of the administrationtax receivers. On the other hand, if the owners recognize how importantce the reduction of pollution is, not only do they cooperate, but they also provide some effective solutions. There are so many lights, computer terminals, and air conditioners which can be switched off after working hours. Riding a bike inside the factory is another fruitful solution to lower pollution. Admittedly, there are would be so many other ways that could can be introduced and followed by factory labors if the importance of reduction of pollution would were realized. By way of conclusion, Once again I reaffirm my position that charging industrial units is not the permanent solution. Holding training sessions to improve the knowledge of factory owners along with labor force regarding considerable damages they are causing is more effective.
