There are recently been movements to boycott products imported from countries that tolerate the exploitation of underage workers. Using specific examples, explain why you support or oppose such boycott? A new trade trend to boycott imported products which are made by underage workers has been started in today's world. In first world nation countries, the cost of labors for productionproducing activity is overrated, so companies start to invest in developed countries such as Thailand, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Bangladesh to pay less for production. In these countries the majority of society are under the poverty line and because of mismanagement children are forced to work and provide for their families. Unfortunately, most of these children are underage and work for long hours with low pay. Since it's a fact that big companies like Apple and Nike are famous enough and have worldwidecross world advertisements, hence controlling people not to not buy these products is not possible. Groups of activists believe the more demand there is, the more children work, but I believe individual boycotts does not work and we should go for better solutions to support those children. All the three aspectsparties, that is to say, governments, companies, and families are lie with this issue. First of all, governments of developed countries gain huge profits from investment of big companies. Authorities should make tough rules and put high rate taxes for exporting these products to stop governments. Companies should be under investigation and there should be restrict rules to overcharge companies which invest in these sweatshops. At the same time, governments should put lower rates of importing tax for companies which work with worker-friendly suppliers to motivate companies. I opine, it's incumbentcombat on governments to provide free education and teach families that if these children become literate, they can make more money to help them. In conclusion, child labor is a global issue and all nations must stand against and solve it to make our world a better place for living.
