Do you agree or disagree with fallowing statement? It is better to use printed materials such as books and articles to do research than it is to use the internet. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Studying and being a student are always associated with research,. a group of people believe printed materials can be more helpful than online materials and the another group on the contrary/quite the contrary. As far as I am concerned, the latter group and I are on the same page. To start with, online information is more up to date than that of the printed one. It does not mean you can rely on whatever you find on the internet, but both writing and the process of publishing a book take a long time and as we know, with the high speed of developing technology, it is not possible to update up to speed a printed book immediately. In addition, you can have the articles whenever you want. When I was a university student, I went to on a trip for holidays and I wanted to prepare my proposal. In that time, if I wanted to use books, I would have should to carry a lot of heavy books with me by myself to work on my project. But I prefered to use online articles and e-books for which I just needed a good internet connection to have them. Moreover, searching in a library to find the exactly of what you want not only did takes a lot of energy, but also time. Last but not least, produced with harmful environmental consequences, printed books are more expensive than online materials. So online materials could be used by a wide various range of people, and money will not be a limitation for education. To sum it up, I opine, as a comparison between searching online, or in printed books, the advantages of the online search carry more weight than those that of printed ones.
