Today more people are travelling than ever before. Why is the case? What are the benefits of travelling for the travelers? Going on a journey has always been considered a joyous adventure, whether it has been for recreational or business ones. Experiences gained during a trip are said to be fruitful, which enhance people’s quality of life. Nowadays this trend has been on the rise for several reasons, which are discussed in this paper. With the technology on the increase, all types of transportation are developing apace. As opposed to the last centuries, when people used to bear the sufferings of long-awaited travels, today, they are taking advantages of fast-paced means of transportation. The Aviation system and express trains are two conspicuous cases in of the point. Not only do people tend to utilize these facilities, they, also, are more assured of these systems’ safety, which is another result of advanced technology. Moreover, travel agencies provide adventurous people with travel insurance, which most of the time covers travelers’ loss during their journey. These plus points incentivize/motivate bring about boosting the public ’s incentive to make trips more. Notwithstanding the fact that the growing technology has created a the global village and people are able to watch and experience outlandish places in front of the screen, individuals all around the world are getting more curious to visit of visiting(venturing?) novel places authentically. Not to mention that governments do their best to capitalize on their traditional and natural resources in order to attract more tourists by advertising in pervasive medias. From my point of view, traveling, also, benefits individuals. Firstly, they get familiar with new cultures and lifestyles. They can get the sense of these values and take these lessons back to their home country. Secondly, even though the whole trip could not be peculiar to leisure purposes, it could downsize individuals’s hectic lives and contribute to the growth of people’s efficiency in life. In a nutshell, thanks to scientific discoveries and inventions, regarding the enhancing the safety and comfort of transportation systems, people are more eager to travel, which is consequently to their benefits them by improving their knowledge and keeping them away from the tedium of the routine life.
