Nowadays, more and more young unmarried adults are choosing to study and live outside their parents’ homes. Do you think this trend is positive? Thanks to urbanization, the young unmarried often migrate to the big cities and live living away from their parents for studying or searching jobs (in search of jobs) for a better life style. This trend has lots of positive aspects, but it has (does have) a few negative side effects as well. When youngsters choose to live outside their parents’ homes, they give themselves the chance to learn inherent skills of life. They learn to manage their time and money. They learn to cook, clean and wash. In fact, they learn skills to run a home. They learn to take care of themselves. They actually learn to become self‐reliant. When they are living alone they cope with challenges, so they explore and discover themselves and it causes them you to become (makes you) selfsufficient and this is another plus point. These all are parts of positive aspects of living alone for young adults, as they wouldn’t perhaps learn many of these skills if they were living with their parents. On the flip side, too much independence can have a negative impact as well specially for those young adults that cannot distinguish between right and wrong. Because there are many traps in big cities and young adults are their main targets, so . So in absence of a guiding voice they can get into a bad company. Moreover, they may develop bad habits like smoking and drinking because there is nobody to lead them. After analyzing both aspects of the situation however, living alone for youngsters has have some negative effects, but on the other hand makes them mature and independent adults, so the trend of living alone for young adults is largely positive and should be encouraged. 1.
