Most high level jobs are done by men. Should the government encourage a certain percentage of these jobs to be reserved for women? In these days, it is a fact that high positions are dominated by men. Some people argue that there must be a few small numbers of top jobs in the hands of woman through quotas. However, in my view, the government should adopt another approach to tackle this problem. Some people believe that imposing quotas is the best way to give crucial jobs to women. This would guarantee that they participate in the society more efficiently, and could defend their rights more effectively. Nevertheless, reserving a few seats for women may result in discrimination against men. A more feasible approach could be that education systems should provide equal education opportunities y for both genders, particularly in male dominated subjects. This helps women prepare for top jobs, though it does not take place in short terms. Undoubtedly, the society will flourish more rapidly if high‐level positions are given to decent people whether they are men or women. To put it in the a nut shell, I do believe that allocating jobs to women is not the best way to address this issue, and modifying education systems, instead, could have more positive results/consequences for the society.
