In the modern world car ownership is regarded as a right. However, some argue that governments should try to reduce the number of cars on the road by improving public transport, as the growing number of cars on the road causes traffic congestion and pollution. Discuss Nowadays, some governments try to persuade people to use public transportation instead of driving their own cars on roads and streets. However, governors cannot oblige citizens to do that as owning a car is an undoubted right for all people and this fact has resulted in development of some industries. To begin with, some governments strictly try to motivate their citizens to use public transportation more rather than usage of private cars. Governoers believe that by promoting the culture of using public transport not only the road tolls is likely to be reduced, but also some issues such as air pollution and traffic congestions might be eased/solved. Furthermore, people generally will be are more interested in using public transportation provided that they it would are be efficient and sufficient whenever citizens need to use it . Hence, governments seriously try to provide nations with more affordable and reliable means in order to prevent the respective some complications obstacles which may arise by increasing usage of private cars. However, possessing a private car is everyone's right and this has led to development of some industries and businesses. In other words, since people buy cars, many industries have been established to produce cars. Besides, many other businesses are related to cars. Ffor instance, a considerable part of the insurance industry and numerous people who are dealing with fixing and servicing cars, are indirectly dependanted on car possession. Some economists believe that the more cars people buy, the more job opportunities vacancies and enterepreneurship. The main conclusion to be drawn is that although encouraging people to utilize public transportation may lead to solutions for air pollution and traffic congestions, car possession is a legal right and it has led to a huge industry which has benefited a great number of enterprises.
