Based on a survey conducted by the Victoria University of Manchester, a group of behavioral scientists - in an ongoing experiment - observed almost about one 1 million high school graduates. The results reveals valuable pieces of information about why this gap occurs. I support what many governments and officials office authorities have done, though . Though, it might seem a violation of freedom to some extent in from smokers' point of view. There are several reasons that governments and private companies are being strict on smoking in offices and even public places. Firstly, no sensible person will deny that smoking leads to a number of health problems such as a higher risk of lung cancer and heart attacks. Secondly, smoking causes health hazards to non-smokers who inhale smoke passively from the smokers. Finally, smoking has a strongly psychologically influence on others, particularly on children and the young who learn from their elders elderly. The ban on smoking in offices and public places does not actually threaten people's s' freedom. They could be allowed to smoke only in designed designated areas away from the public. As smoking is the leading cause of respiratory diseases among the people, it is incumbent on the government to take required measures to protect people from the health dangers associated with passive smoking.
