Some people believe that competition for high grade motivates students to excel in classroom. Others believe that such ompetition seriously limits the quality of learning. Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own position and explain your yoyr reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should address both of the viewa presented. Nowadays competition for high grades in schools is a challengeing matter. Some say these kinds of activities encourage students to achieve for acheveing great marks; however, others mention these sorts of competition will become intense and hence devastating. a rat race. Furthermore, not only does it bring perfidy, but it also discourages individuals to develop their talents. To me both views have its their perception of competition, but I am opposed to the latter statement. In what follows I will delineate the two positions taken into account and then my point ponit of view will would be portrayed. To begin with, advocates of competition believe that competition motivates students to reach better scores. They are to some extent right. The reason why I espouse their belief is that not only does it create edifying aura in schools, but it also imposes students to work harder specially in cases where which their studies are is researchbased. For instance the most informative paper would get the chance to be published in campus magazines or in such different publications. Moreover, authorities can allocate scholarships for the best students. Who would refute such a pleasant nice environment in education centers? On the other hand, some groups clique dismiss this way of thinking. Besides, individuals with abstemious and modicum rate of knowledge would be disparaged and belittled in comparison to their veteran counterparts. According to recent studies conducted by JIS, moderate pupils would soon become frustrated after breathtaking competitions with their master opponents. Consequently, they prefer to recoil at further education activities which are is destructive distructive to their appetite to gain more lessons. In my perception, I nurture the former rather than the latter view. I strongly reject the second statement. One might concede that destructive environment would be dominantted after competitions; whereas, it is totally wrong because students should have what it takes to be a patient competitors. In other words, they should learn to be a patient loser and a humble winner, so . So it is up to on the students to create such an enlightening atmosphere or alternatively a sordid situation. Another point to add is that ones individuals should evaluate a challenge which could make him unstrung and upset and then decide to whether take part in it or not. To recap, there is a are diversity of perceptions accosting to competitive situations in high schools. Both of the views could be discussed in one way or another. By the way however, I agree with those believing in edifying impact which competitions bring to our educational centers.
